My car was towed in off interstate 16 last Sunday. I was on vacation with my family at jekyll Island. I called Monday morning and left messages, but no one returned the call. It was Wednesday before Rebecca returned a call and she said my car was next in line to be diagnosed. On Friday, it still had yet to be looked at. I had to rent a car to get home to knoxville Saturday morning, and I'm still in the rental on Monday at home. I also opened a case with hyundai corporate. At least Gustavo is trying to keep me in the loop, but even he cannot get answers from this dealership. My engine is under a lifetime warranty for all engine parts of the engine fails, which is what happened on I16. I let them know that this is the case, and after reading previous reviews here, I have a feeling that no one is in any kind of hurry to look at the diagnosis. Meanwhile, I am out almost a grand in rental fees with no end in sight. If Five Star addresses my issues quickly so I can get my santa fe back, I will be happy to revise this review. But until then, nope!

Went to dealership to purchase aq new SantAFe. They said the didn't have. What I was looking for but could one within 1 day. They also said it was a 2024 model. I researched and there are no 2024 Santa Fes available Anywhere. They gave an unexceptable trade offer and we left. Tried calling dealership over 6 times. All phones go to voice mail. They obviously don't want my business so we went elsewhere and found what we wanted
My last review was July 12. My car went in July 5 and I still don’t have my car back and it’s August 2. My daughter and I have left several messages in the last few days without a return call or service doesn’t answer at all. What happened to my car?
Took the car in last Wednesday,July 5. The part that was needed was covered under the warranty but they tried to up sell my daughter $800 of extra work which her father, who work in this industry, told her to deny. She was told then that they didn’t have the part and the car should be done possibly Monday but no later than Tuesday. It’s now Wednesday and we were told Thursday. Something tells me that if she spent the $800 the car would be finished. I am her mother and was out of town and had to pay for transportation from the airport. I’m in my 60s and never had such horrible service from a dealership. When we bought this sonata at this dealership they sold me a $4000 extra warranty but it wouldn’t change my payment. I asked do I get a rental car with this add on and was told yes! When I called them yesterday and explained this to the service man he told me they didn’t have any rentals and go look at that warranty and call them directly for a rental car. That sure wasn’t mentioned when they tacked on the warranty. Sounds like I need to look further into to this warranty. 5 star Hyundai should be ashamed of themselves.
Took my 2018 Sonata with less than 35000 miles to this dealership for what should have been a covered repair under my bumper to bumper coverage. The first time without inspection was told repair was not covered. After contacting Hyundai corporate I returned for what was a covered repair. This time the dealership claims it is not covered because the damage was caused by running over some animal and there was fur and blood around the damaged part. The next day I have my car placed on a lift to see for myself what the dealership claimed. There was no fur, no blood, nothing but the damaged part. This dealership has no integrity and can not be trusted. If they will attempt to steal from you concerning a small matter, how much will they try to cheat you when it comes to a major purchase. Steer clear of these dishonest people, don't do business with crooks. The only reason it doesn't get a zero is because it wouldn't post.
Alot has changed. Bought a new car 8 years ago was great. Terrible experience. I know inventory is low but went in Thursday spent 2 hours to not drive anything. Said they can't get in the model I want Santa Cruz. So I told them I would look at a Tuscon. Said they had to get one on the lot. Salesman Called me the next day Friday and said they had one the color and everything I wanted when could I come in. Told him would be Saturday. Talked to salesman 2 more times. Salesman called me again Saturday morning saying suv was on lot when can I be there. Handled my business finally get there about 130 and I am told the car is not on the lot. I need to sign some papers saying I am going to buy it before they can bring it on the lot from Macon. I told them I wasn't signing anything that I haven't seen or driven and you told me it was on the lot waiting for me to drive. Then they told me I could drive the one on the lot they're all the same. I am not signing anything until I see what I'm suppose to be looking at.
They have been under re-construction for at least six months. The service department can be difficult to deal with and are not appologic when it comes to how to even get into the bays. The service manager gets angry if you don't come in as they wish. I've been waiting for them to fix a defect in my 2021 Hyundai Santa Fe for months and was scheduled to have it completed today. When I arrived, on time, the necessary part was not ready and so now it may be another month before the issue is resolved. Once they were great now, and probably until construction is complete I would recommend staying away from this dealership and if I had know, would not have purchased from them. It's a disaster there and I'd suggest another Hyundai dealership for best buy and service.
They Have Terrible Customer Service.I RECOMMEND NOBODY GO TO THIS PLACE !!!!The manager is so rude And Will Just Stare At You ……This Dealership Just Want People Money !!!
The people here is very rude, unpleasant, bad customer service, unprofessional, and frustrated for no reason! I recommend going to another dealer that take time with there customers! This place could use a lot of improvement especially management!
never received the info I requested! but that's ok purchasing from a private owner! I also see a better experience with dealerships in Columbus Ga at least some of them are willing to discount fees instead of driving up a price that you could afford to one that you can't afford! I gave them 2 star only because I never spoke to anyone from the Hyundai store did have a good experience from the Fivestar CDJR store which they put me in contact with the Hyundai store because the vehicle in question was actually theirs and not the CDJR store's I then asked for the info again directly from the dealership and not through the search sites and still got no response. not the kind of service I have heard about the five star group generally the reports are good! I don't base all my decisions about a place on one bad event will check with the Five Star group again when next I am in need of a vehicle
Just purchased my 2022 Palisade Calligraphy from Jeremy at Five Star Hyundai of Warner Robins while the car was in transit. What a great experience! I was trying to get the most popular exterior and interior color combination they make so it was important that we both worked together to make it happen. Jeremy followed up with me every step of the way. It actually came in early and he notified me and sent pictures! Because it came in early, the wiring harness from the tow hitch they ordered did not make it on time for the hitch to be installed before delivery. It was supposed to come in 2 days later. It did come in and Jeremy let me know as soon as it arrived so I could plan my visit the next day to have it installed. I arrived the next day and they immediately began the installation. I stayed in the waiting room and spoke with every customer who came in. I asked them how long they had owned their car and what they thought of the dealership and service department. Everyone I asked said they had been customers for years, most had bought multiple vehicles from Five Star and they all said the service department was excellent! If you are looking to purchase a vehicle you owe it to yourself to visit this wonderful dealership.
